It’s Not Often that a performer makes us want to slap his mouth shut. but in this case Ne-Yo needs to Shut His Mouth Right NOW..

When we read this statement in the AP from Ne-Yo we realized that the singer is a few nuts short of a pair. he had the nerve to make this type of statement about a fellow performer with out the proper info ? Please Ne-Yo, Tip and Tiny should show up at your babyshower and Piss On You.. Literally. You Have Lost Me As A Fan Forever.

Who is Ne-Yo to criticize anyone in the entertainment industry. the entire incident with T.I and Tiny is a case of Coparazzi. anybody who has eyes and good sense can see this clearly. no one is sitting in a maybach smoking Meth Ne-Yo. Hating is such a part of the game today that seeing this statement infuriated me.

I’m not a big fan of Ne-Yo anyway and to hear that he had anything to say about T.I and Tiny is so useless and haterific. These are two young performers with lots of following, cash and obviously Haters.

Isn’t it enough to think that One Man is Harrassed for smoking a joint in his own car, with his own wife. While in the same city at the same time, loads of people are suffering by being beaten, murdered and raped in the same area, while this cop writes a ticket for a person smoking a joint ?

Wasn’t it recently that we heard that Mr Ne-Yo was in trouble for Sleeping with an underage French Prostitute ?

Ms Trendy Reported Recently that There has been some talk about NeYo being involved with an underage 16 year old prostitute named Zahia Dehar from France. No wonder NeYo cleared things up quick about marring soon to be baby momma. I still think he goes both ways. (we do too ms. trendy)

Neyo wants the world to know that he doesn’t have a women. Monetta Shaw is just a women carrying his child and she understands or doesn’t mind the fact that he’s with other women. Monetta was really just a decoy in the first place. He got her pregnant to kill the rumors of him being gay. But him being gay is something he can’t hide. Guinness Greatness in Concert for October

In a celebration befitting the great philanthropist and creator of the iconic Guinness Stout, Arthur Guinness, some of the greatest Reggae and Dancehall acts will showcase their talent at Greatness in Concert set for October 23 at the National Stadium.

The event will showcase greatness in the Jamaican dancehall and will feature a strong line-up of acts, including Grammy award winners Shaggy and Beenie Man as well as Mavado.

The star-studded line-up will also feature full sets from veteran Bounty Killer, Wayne Wonder and Lady Saw. The only way to gain admission to Guinness Greatness in Concert is through the Guinness Under The Cap promotion, which runs from September 1 until October 21.

“October 23 will be a historic night in the history of Jamaican music , when we come together to celebrate greatness. Guinness stands firm on a great 251-year legacy, and helping to lead the Caribbean-wide celebration will be some of the most inspirational dancehall talent, who themselves represent greatness and strength of character to succeed,” says Guinness brand manager Gary Dixon.

Ne-Yo on TI: ‘He makes a lot of poor decisions’

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Singer Ne-Yo says rapper TI has had many chances — and it’s time he gets his act together.

After TI was arrested in a drug case, Ne-Yo called him one of the smartest people in the music industry.

“I just feel that he makes a lot of poor decisions when it comes to the people that he surrounds himself with,” Ne-Yo told The Associated Press in an interview Thursday night.

TI was taken into custody Wednesday with his wife Tameka ‘Tiny’ Cottle on suspicion of possessing methamphetamines after police pulled over their Maybach in West Hollywood. They were released on $10,000 bail Thursday.

The arrest occurred while TI is on three years probation in a weapons case.

Ne-Yo said he’s not familiar with the company TI surrounds himself with, but “nine times out of 10 when he gets in trouble, it’s not him, it’s the people that he’s with.”

TI was poised to have a major comeback.

He stars in the nation’s No. 1 movie, the heist thriller Takers, recently married his longtime girlfriend and was wrapping up a new album. But now there are questions about whether he’s returning to the music charts — or prison.

Ne-Yo says it’s time for the multiplatinum rapper to get his life together.

“You’ve been given a bunch of different chances,” Ne-Yo said. “Now is the time to really go, you know I get it, all right, I get it.”

Blak Ryno Issues Statement Regarding Alleged Assault

Amidst reports of an alleged altercation between popular sound system selector Boom Boom and dancehall deejay Blak Ryno.

The artiste has issued a statement distancing himself from the incident and allegations and it read.

It has been brought to my attention that Boom Boom was attacked by a group of men said to be aligned to me at the popular street dance Uptown Mondays, this is rather unfortunate.

Though I was at the event with a few friends on the day in question, it was only for a short period of time and I left the venue long before the melee unfolded and went straight home.

Contrary to rumours, there was absolutely no physical or verbal exchanges between me and Boom Boom. As for the men who allegedly attacked him, neither do I know them nor are they affiliated to me or my camp in any way.

Presently I am focused on rebuilding my career and making good music for the masses. Being involved in verbal or physical confrontation is not the direction I am looking to take my career.

In closing Blak Ryno whose given name is Romaine Anderson said fans can look out for a video soon and his new single Feel Like Sey on the Swaggy Swaggy Rhythm produced by G-Jay Production among other upcoming projects.

Selecter Boom Boom says Rynos followers beat him

Dancehall selector Boom Boom, in a radio interview yesterday, accused members of deejay Blak Rynos entourage of beating him badly at Uptown Mondays this week.

According to Boom Boom, who said his injuries sent him to the hospital and has forced the cancellation of some of his shows scheduled for the rest of this week, he was attacked because he did not play a song Ryno had given him while at the popular dance.

Ryno send me a CD with a song, but I didnt get to play it and by the time the dance over and I was packing up some bwoy come over to me and start talk.

Then one of them jump me and everything just get nasty, Boom Bom said.

Taking the high road, he sent a message to Ryno, a former member of Vybz Kartels Portmore Empire, that everything was all right, he just wanted back his money that he had paid at the hospital.

The deejay lamented the loss of income as he was forced to cancel a number of engagements during this back-to-school season.

And a prep school me daughter go he added.

Meanwhile, Blak Ryno says he wasnt at the venue at the time of the incident and he heard about it via a telephone call.

He has apologized for the excesses of his fans and has said he will give Boom Boom back his hospital fees.

Banton looks forward to his day in court.

Previously rescheduled to start on September 13th, the long-delayed trial has now been set to begin on Monday, September 20, 2010. Gibbons U.S. District Courthouse in Tampa, Florida.

Represented by esteemed South Florida Super Lawyer, David Oscar Markus, the Reggae icon is looking forward to finally having the opportunity to defend himself. It goes without saying that Banton is also amped up about the forthcoming release of his prophetic new album, Before The Dawn, which will drop just eight days later on Tuesday, September 28th in the United States and Japan. The release date for most of Europe is Monday, October 1st, however, for the UK and France the date will be Friday October 4th.

David Rowe says the setback in Buju Banton’s ongoing drug battle is a bad development. he thinks it is probable that the DJ may get 10 years to a maximum of life in prison if he doesn’t enter a plea deal with the United States govt. He will go before the courts September 20. Buju Banton has been behind bars since December 10 of last year, and has been charged with conspiracy with intent to distribute five kilos or more of cocaine and possession of firearm. Bujus’ new album will hit the stores on September 13.

West Working on ‘movie Companion’ for New Album

Rap heavyweight Kanye West is making another foray into film – the hip-hop star is reportedly working on a “movie companion” to his upcoming album.

The hitmaker’s last record, 808s and Heartbreaks, featured a Spike Jonze-directed short, We Were Once a Fairytale.

West is set to release his fifth studio album Dark Twisted Fantasy on 16 November (10).

We’ve shot some good stuff so far

And according to Mtv News, images from a film shoot that swept across the internet on Wednesday (01Sep10) are not for a typical music video.

The rapper hinted he was working on a special movie project last week (ends27Aug10), writing in a series of posts on his Twitter.com page “Lastday in Prague. We’ve shot some good stuff so far… really good… NO! Imean Really Good!” He continued “Just wrapped for the day. Been shooting 16 hour days… I’m so excited… It’s like a child’s delusions become reality!” West has yet to release further details of the project, although he hascommented on one bizarre published image, which shows him walking over to a waiting deer.

He tweeted “On set of the movie. This doe just refuses to sit still…I told the deer… ‘what would Bambi do?’ and she looked at me like I was crazy”.

Diddy Sued For $12 Mil By Employee Who Claims Age Discrimination

Sean “Diddy” Combs has been hit with a $12 million dollar lawsuit by a former employee, who claims he fired her from Bad Boy Records over her age and medical condition.

TMZ.com reports that Francesca Spero filed the lawsuit in New York Federal Court today (September 1st).

According to the lawsuit Spero identifies herself as a “51-year-old-white woman” who clashed with Combs after she revealed she needed hip surgery in 2008.

Spero, who was Vice President of Management and Publishing at Bad Boy Records, “suffered a relapse” into an addition to prescription medication and alcohol abuse.

She claims that Combs attempted to freeze her out of her position at Bad Boy until she was fired in March of 2010 and allegedly replaced with a woman who lacked her skill set, in addition to being 10-15-years younger.

Flippa on bail?

Finally some good news about the flossing deejay Flippa Mafia. According to a story in the Weekend Star he has seemingly been given a break at last and is reportedly out on bail in the United States.

The deejay was arrested earlier this year after he was allegedly caught trying to enter the United States illegally from the Bahamas in March.

Reports however, surfaced this week that the deejay was released on bail. According to a number of sources he is out on bail and is currently in Philadelphia, where he resided when he previously lived in the United States. Friends of the deejay also claim they have spoken to him since his release.

The reports are yet to be confirmed still anyway.

Rapper T.I. comeback could be derailed with arrest

While charges have yet to be filed, the case has the potential to put one of music’s top names in behind bars yet again.

“We’re not making any observations at this time,” said Ed Garland, a defense attorney for T.I. “This is an unfortunate occurrence, and we do not know what the outcome will be.”

His music label, Atlantic Records, also said it “would be premature to speculate about the current situation given that there is an ongoing investigation of this matter.”

Known as the “King of the South,” T.I is a top name in hip-hop, and pop. Born as Clifford Harris, he sold millions of albums since his debut and racked up hits like “Whatever You Like” and “U Don’t Know Me.” He also had top collaborations with artists including Rihanna, Jay-Z and Justin Timberlake.

But his celebrated career was put in jeopardy in 2007 when he was caught trying to buy semiautomatic weapons on the way to a BET Awards show.

The Atlanta rapper, who has served time for drug and other offenses, pleaded guilty to weapons charges and served seven months in an Arkansas prison and three months in a halfway house in Georgia.

He was ordered not to commit another federal, state or local crime while on supervised release, or to illegally possess a controlled substance.

He was also told to take at least three drug tests after his release and to participate in a drug and alcohol treatment programme.

Duane Stephenson returns with Black Gold

REGGAE artiste Duane Stephenson is set to release his sophomore album, Black Gold, on September 14. The 14-track CD sees Stephenson working with legendary reggae sax player Dean Fraser, who provided the majority of production on BLACK GOLD.

Originally the lead singer and songwriter in To-Isis, Stephenson branched out on his own in 2007 with his debut CD, August Town. As a songwriter, Stephenson has written for such major reggae artistes as Luciano, Morgan Heritage, and Jah Cure’s reggae anthem True Reflections.

Known for his conscious lyrics and depicting the plight of the world around him, Stephenson says Black Gold encompasses his growth mentally, emotionally, and musically. The lead-off track Nah Play is set to be an upbeat one drop riddim expressing the volatile environment in his hometown of Jamaica. Not afraid to convey how he feels about global affairs he also communicates thoughts and desires of his heart on tracks Fire In Me and More.

Stephenson presents various styles and influences on Black Gold. He adds a lover’s rock flavor to Larry Duane Addison’s mid 80s pop-soul lament Members Only. Stephenson and Gramps Morgan compete for a woman’s affection on the country-tinged track Rescue Me. A video will accompany this track; shooting begins in New York on September 7.

Rapper T.I. arrested for drug possession in LA

(Reuters) – T.I. whose real name is Clifford Harris Jr., 29, was arrested with his wife on Sunset Boulevard Wednesday night after police smelled marijuana coming from a car in which the Grammy award-winning rapper was a passenger.

He was booked for possession of a controlled substance and was released after posting bail of $10,000. He is yet to be formally charged because testing is currently being conducted on a handful of “pills resembling ecstasy,” a spokeswoman for the Los Angeles County sheriff’s department said.

T.I.’s next court appearance has been set for Friday.

The Atlanta-born rapper and actor previously has been in trouble with the law, including numerous arrests on drugs and weapons charges. He was released from a halfway house five months ago after being sentenced to a year in prison on federal weapons charges.

The co-founder of Grand Hustle Records, distributed by Warner Music Group’s Atlantic Records, he currently can be seen in the heist film “Takers,” that grabbed the No. 1 spot at the North American box office last weekend.

Busy Signal Hoping Whole World Answers His Dancehall Call

Most dancehall artists’ careers have crashed and burned on American shores. From Yellowman to Shabba Ranks to Buju Banton, some of Jamaica’s most definitive vocalists couldn’t break through to a larger audience due to unwise collaborations, questionable judgments and bad advice.

Busy Signal, who boasts a collab with M.I.A. on the new Major Lazer EP, is determined not to follow that path.

“I’ve learned from their mistakes, “ the man born Reanno Gordon tells Spinner. “I try to think outside the box, beyond Jamaica. I mean, we sing gun lyrics here, and burn fire on this and burn fire on that, but that won’t bring you to the level that you need to go. I’ve seen this over and over again with artists from Jamaica. You sing those songs locally, people go crazy, but at the end of the day that won’t bring you to the wide level of exposure cause you’re probably lashing out against those that would be accepting you.”

Busy has managed to create huge domestic hits while pursuing hybrid rhythms and cool foreign collaborations. Nothing in his rapidly growing catalog sounds like the watered-down crossovers of years past, which saw hard-as-nails dancehall artists recording urban radio-baiting slow jams.

His new album ‘D.O.B.’ (which stands for “Difference of Busy” may contain covers of Phil Collins’ ‘One More Night’ and a one-drop revision of the Commodores’ ‘Night Shift,’ but both versions cut deep and don’t feel like blatant sellouts.

Rastafarian firebrand Sizzla had to cancel his planned performance at this year’s Chiemsee Reggae Summer in Germany after a vocal and aggressive gay lobby objected to his performance at the event.

For weeks, pro-gay groups and left-leaning politicians had pressured the organisers to nix Sizzla from the concert.Organisers opted to cancel the tour because of “safety reasons” as they could not guarantee the safety for festival-goers.

“Groups from the radical left spectrum jeopardize the application of several demonstrations in the immediate vicinity of the festival site, the security of the event,” said the organizer in a release on his homepage.
